Are you a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer looking for a rewarding opportunity? We’re hiring a dynamic individual to join our team with a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum. This is a Fixed-Term Contract for 6 months with the exciting potential to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Facilities Maintenance Engineer:

• Set up, organize, and execute maintenance routines for office, warehouse, and factory facilities.
• Continuously maintain and improve site facilities in collaboration with external and internal personnel.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on buildings, including offices, factories, warehouses, and academies.
• Execute crucial planned preventative maintenance tasks and provide condition reports on the site’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Manage the air filtration contractor, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Follow up and close out any consolidated and pest control actions raised against site facilities.
• Organize and manage external contractors, conducting Risk Assessment reviews and issuing Permits to Work.

Requirements for the successful Facilities Maintenance Engieneer:

• Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Ability to set up and execute maintenance routines for diverse facilities.
• Skilled in repairs and maintenance of various building types.
• Proficiency in planned preventative maintenance tasks and CMMS systems.
• Experience in managing contractors, especially in air filtration, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills in coordinating external contractors and conducting Risk Assessment reviews.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
