Mechanical Fitter
Kidderminster
£36,400 + overtime
Monday – Friday double DAYS
week 1: 5:30am – 2pm
week 2: 10am – 6:30pm
The Company:
This is a great opportunity to work for a really well established company that supply their niche products across the UK and the rest of the world. The engineer will ideally be an experience mechanical fitter with fabricating experience and basic electrical skills will be advantageous.
The majority of this role as a mechanical fitter will involve:
- Provide front line maintenance support across the site in the operations team.
- Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
- Dismantle and re-assemble all production equipment
- Fabricate / manufacture components for maintenance repairs
- Regular PPM scheduling maintenance/ improvement works.

Experience Required as a Mechanical Fitter:
- A recognised apprenticeship or level 2
- Industrial / manufacturing environment experience for at least three years working as a mechanical fitter

- Familiar with, belts, conveyors, chains, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
- able to fabricate
