Design Manager Full Time Permanent

Design Manager.
Manchester.
Up to £60,000 per annum (DOE).
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00

We are looking to recruit an experienced Design Manager to join a well established and hugely successful independent lift company. Services offered include repairs, removals, servicing and installations.
This role will include site visits, therefore a valid CSCS card is essential.

Duties of the Design Manager:

• Develop and implement the design process for the company.
• Ensure the work drawings and design proposals meet customer requirements and agreed budgets.
• Provide expert knowledge of complex design management. From initial concept through to checking the manufacturing drawings for approval.

What we are looking for in the Design Manager:

• Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Previous experience with the lift industry, with a full understanding of lift design, regulations and standards
• A valid CSCS card.
• Experience with AutoCAD, 3D Modelling or DraftSight.
