My client is a global organisation who has gone through considerable growth in the past 5 years.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Head of Finance to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be a strong financial lead with a proven track record within a similar role.
The Role
- Manage and develop effective internal finance controls and processes throughout the business
- Completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, management accounts, VAT and tax returns
- Maintain and develop credit processes
- Form meaningful relationships with senior colleagues across the business and be able to influence a unified direction
- Leading and developing a team of 10
- Deliver on budgeting, re-forecasting, financial analysis, and month end reporting
- be responsible for the delivery of the monthly financial commentary to the Group’s leadership team
- Forecasting, cash management and planning processes
- Identifying emerging issues and concerns in both financial and non-financial areas of the business
- Management of monthly payroll
- HMRC and P11D’s communication
The Candidate
- Experienced finance leader within a fast-moving and dynamic business environment, preferably in a senior corporate finance management position.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience, managerial experience preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP standards
- Natural flair to strategise, analyse issues and measure results
- Strong business acumen
- Impeccable knowledge of business processes
- Significant experience in a management or operational role in a leading business with a focus on profit centre accountability
- Proven experience of building teams and working with varied and cross-functional teams, to include IT, HR, BD and Finance
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable to and facilitating change
- Strong team player
