Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

We are a renowned and established Lift Service, Installation, and Repair company. Due to our continuously expanding portfolio, we are seeking a talented Lift Technician to join our team in the London area.

Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician:

• Provide expert technical support to the entire business.
• Assist engineers with technical issues and liaise with manufacturers when necessary.
• Communicate technical information effectively to key stakeholders.
• Test lifts for modernization projects and new installations.
• Attend and rectify breakdowns and faults.
• Generate detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with site personnel to assess lift status and notify affected parties.
• Ensure the electrical safety of lifts.
• Commission lifts according to specification parameters and complete necessary documentation.
• Record abnormalities for corrective action or risk assessments.
• Conduct final inspections and sign off on documentation.
• Participate in quality and technical issue meetings.
• Ensure lift well security and safety during commissioning/testing.
• Report lift conditions to the Project Manager and provide snagging lists to fitters/supervisors.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Key Requirements of the successful Lift Technician:

• NVQ4 within Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• NVQ3 within Lift Engineering is essential.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Experience on Schindler or Thyssenkrup is desirable but not compulsory
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Lift Technician or Tester.
