We are on the look-out for an Electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer with a strong Maintenance background to join a well-established family company which is excelling even in these tough times. The site is fully automated and has been heavily invested in over the years, with a well-trained and long-serving team which has also been invested in.
The main duties of this hands-on role will include reactive Maintenance as you will be mainly responsible for attending breakdowns, but you will be kept on your toes with project work and installations when breakdowns are not occurring. Timekeeping is a quality you must possess in order to be successful in this position.
If you have experience working on 3-phase systems, wiring motors, inverters (variable speed control), sensors, and/or temperature controls then this could be the ideal role for you. PLC fault-finding is essential, and you will have more of an advantage if you can access and interrogate PLCs. The Maintenance Engineer also be expected to provide shift cover when needed. Overtime is available sometimes, but not regularly.
