My client is looking for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer (70/30 minimum) to join a manufacturing facility in Barnsley. A market-leading firm, they have just started a £12 million project and are expanding to meet these requirements.
As the successful applicant, you’ll be working on the shift in a team of 8 engineers directly under the engineering manager. The role will involve both reactive maintenance and PPMs.
The role will be a mixture of maintenance on extruders, saws, moulding machines and granulators. The ideal candidate will have experience in fault finding on PLCs as well as a good understanding of mechanical components including bearings and valves.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer is preferred but not essential
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in some form of mechanical or electrical discipline.
