My client is looking for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to work on 2 state-of-the-art FMCG facilities in Bradford. With company turnover increasing from £5 million to £40 million in the last few years, they are expanding now to meet their customers’ demands.
As the successful applicant, you’ll be working with 9 engineers across different sites. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in automation and robotics. Fault finding on PLCs is a must and programming preferred but not essential.
The role will be a mixture of PPMs, reactive maintenance, project work and R&D. With an ever-expanding workload, engineers are expected to be able to take whatever they face into their stride. You will have lots of variation to your day to day responsibilities.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer in an FMCG environment is essential.
- Robotics and automation experience desired.
- PLC fault finding is essential and programming would be beneficial.
- Formal qualifications are not necessary, time-served/experience is the deal-breaker.
