We’re recruiting for a Managing Director for a Building Products firm in the North.
You will have full P+L Responsibility, complete responsibility for the management of all aspects of the business. This is a great opportunity to take control and manage a fast paced business and hold full accountability for all its performance. Things within this business do happen fast so it’s essential you’re decisive.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing, leading and bulding a senior management team and will be a hands on leader who will inspire the people within the business and lead change where necessary. Good knowledge of sales, marketing, warehousing and logistics to the builders merchant sector is key too, this business have several sites and distribute products all over the country.
You’ll need a keen interest in getting to grips with every detail of the business, the sort of person who will integrate themselves into the business from the ground up, gaining an understanding of all the processes and functions of different departments, before elevating yourself. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in at every level and must have an entrepreneurial flare to position the business for its growth cycle.
