We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter who is looking for a progressive role. Get involved with project, be part of a real engineering team. Be part of a company that will invest in you. The company has a strong focus on sustainability and being within the recycling sector, this is a secure role. You will be attending to breakdowns and PPM schedules onsite.
You must have experience with big hydraulics and be happy working outdoors on heavy plant equipment.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter
The Opportunity:
You will be working on 2000 tonne shears, mobile cranes for material handling, screw conveyors, in feed conveyors, Separators, sortation machines, big industrial magnets and more. It’s a heavy industrial environment where most of the work will be outside, you will have to be self-motivated to get your hands dirty quite often in the wet and cold.

Experience required:
- City and Guilds/ NVQ or similar in an engineering discipline
- At least 3 year’s experience in a mechanical fitter / maintenance engineer rolle maintaining/repairing heavy special purpose machinery as a Maintenance Engineer
- Must have worked in a heavy industrial environment previously
