My client is looking for an experienced mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Sheffield. A multi-national company with a turnover in the billions, enjoy a stable work environment in an expanding business globally.
As the successful applicant, you’ll be working in a team of 5 on shift under a maintenance team leader. The ideal candidate will be mechanically biased with a background in manufacturing. Experience with packing and filling machines is extremely beneficial.
The role will be a mixture of reactive maintenance and PPMs in a clean environment with lots of new machinery. The role will involve overtime work paid at a premium rate during busy periods. This includes night shift work.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer is beneficial.
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical discipline.
- An apprenticeship background is favourable.
