Project Engineer
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Join a dynamic and forward-thinking organization at the forefront of the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Banbury. This role offers an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent placement.
Requirements for the successful Project Engineer:
- HND or equivalent degree in a technical/engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is essential.
- Operational knowledge of CDM, H&S legislation
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, APM, Prince 2)
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens PLC’s is an advantage)
Key Responsibilities of the successful Project Engineer:
- Lead the planning, management, and installation of engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with project processes and deliver all necessary documentation for successful project completion.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to make improvements across safety, quality, service, and cost.
- Oversee third-party contractors on-site
- Manage project capital expenditure budget through regular forecasting and planning.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and company-approved working practices.
- Supervise and control contractors performing engineering works on-site, ensuring adherence to controls and completion of necessary paperwork.
