We are a multi site leading Aerospace business who, like most in 2020/21, have gone through a challenge. We have restructured and have made some positive moves to ensure we get back to where we were and more importantly grow back. We have a new CEO who’s joined to reinvigorate the business alongside our experienced Management team,who have as much passion and enthusiasm for the business as they did on day one.
This is a brand new exciting role for us, which is key to laying the foundations for our success over the coming years . It’s a role which will offer plenty of challenges, satisfaction, opportunities and sense of achievement. We’re excellent operationally and need someone to come in and take our Purchasing Department to the next level, to drive down cost and really take ownership of the role..

The role will be focussed around supplier selection, assessment and management. We want you to build real relationships with our suppliers, working in partnership and ultimately drive down cost.
You’ll be tasked with doing a full review of our supplier base, given free reign to implement processes, procedures and change as you see fit, heading up a team with 4 direct reports.
You’ll need to be a problem solver with high standard and be a self-motivated, driven professional.
You’ll be CIPS Qualified, experienced in managing a team and have strong attention to detail.
