£19-22,000 basic plus bonus

Working hours Monday to Friday with alternative Saturday mornings

My client is a privately owned building supplies business that is growing year by year. With a great reputation for great service and a loyal client base, this company is offering a great chance at a career in the construction industry.

The role

Working face to face and over the phone with retail and trade customers. Listening to their needs and offering advice on the best products for their requirements. Full training and mentoring on products and way to calculate product quantities.

This role is a starting role in this business and can offer many routes for progression.

Please note working hours are Monday to Friday 07.30 till 5 and every other Saturday 8-12

The candidate

For this role we are looking for drive and motivation for a career and someone with basic skills that can be built upon, so no experience in construction or building industry is required. The following experience and skillset would be desirable

• Face to face customer service experience
• Good customer service skills
• Good telephone manner
• Ability to build relationships
• Good communication
• Good level of IT skills
• Good general level of maths
