Forterra’s Head of Marketing needed to hire a Marketing Manager for their expanding team in Northampton. In the past, hiring had been a drain; countless irrelevant applications led to hours of sifting, unclear candidate fit, and long lead times. It felt frustrating and time-consuming. 

For this hire, they were looking for someone creative, proactive and sharp; a marketing all-rounder who could bring creativity, initiative, and a strong commercial edge. But the internal team didn’t have time to waste combing through unsuitable CVs or managing a drawn-out process. They needed this role filled ASAP in the most efficient way possible.
