Already in sales or experience dealing with customers? Recruitment could be your next move.

If you’re working in sales right now and you’re good at it, you already have what it takes to succeed in recruitment — the drive, the resilience, the ability to pick up the phone and build relationships. The difference is what recruitment can offer you: faster progression, uncapped earning potential, and a career where your hard work translates directly into results you can see.

Ask yourself:

• Are you confident, resilient, and hard-working, but capped on what you can earn or how far you can progress in your current sales role?
• Do you want a bigger, faster route to a six-figure income?
• Are you willing to learn a new industry, new processes, and build your skills from the ground up?

If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

About us

Stirling Warrington is the highest-rated Engineering Recruitment Agency in the Midlands. We work with an enviable base of manufacturing clients and have some of the best consultants in Leicester. It’s a great place to build a career, and right now is a great time to join – we have ambitious growth plans across the business.

We’ll give you everything you need to succeed: access to every live vacancy, a dedicated marketing team, the best systems and MacBooks for sourcing engineers, experienced colleagues around you, and an external trainer with 20 years’ experience on hand to coach, support and guide you.

The Job

• Building a candidate pool – Speaking to hundreds of candidates every month to understand who’s who in your market. Expect around 60 outbound calls a day to start, with the goal of connecting with every relevant candidate in your area.
• Building a client portfolio – Prospecting every manufacturer in your area hiring engineers, and selling in both candidates and our services. Expect a minimum of 50 outbound dials a day.
• Filling vacancies – Using your candidate pool, our database, and job adverts across all major job boards to match the right people to the right roles.
• Visiting clients – Getting out to see clients on-site, understanding their business and processes, and knowing exactly the kind of person they need.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven, phone-based role. It’s genuinely rewarding — but like any sales career, it takes hard work, resilience and commitment to get there.
