We are looking for a Management Accountant to work for a leading manufacturing business based in York. You will be responsible for managing monthly accounts using journals and reconciling ledgers. This role has excellent progression opportunities to progress to Finance Controller within the next 5 years.
Duties will include:
- Monthly Management Accounts.
- Cash Flow Financial Management.
- Control of Production of business information.
- Develop yearly budget plans.
- Design performance measurement indicators for the entire company via Power BI.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, facilitating completion and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Managing a sales and purchase ledger assistant and overseeing the process.
Experience required:
- Experience within a Management Accountant role.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA is essential.
