Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sheffield
Hours: Rotating 4 on 4 off continental shifts (Days: 06:00–18:00 / Nights: 18:00–06:00)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Holiday: 35 days per year
Bonus: Monthly performance bonus of up to 5% (based on production output)

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Summary:

Following substantial site investment and internal progression, opportunities have arisen to join a growing electrical maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient plant operation through high-quality maintenance, repair, and fault-finding work on a range of industrial equipment.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Deliver first-line response to plant breakdowns and electrical faults

• Perform planned maintenance activities in line with the engineering schedule

• Ensure all electrical activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards

• Support shift planning where electrical expertise is required

• Lead or participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

• Produce accurate engineering reports and technical documentation

• Support and mentor apprentices and less experienced team members

• Contribute to team-based problem solving and the development of best practices

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial environment

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities

• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals

• Excellent communication and planning skills

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (essential)

• Experience working in heavy industry or manufacturing preferred
