Accountant / Bookkeeper
Chelmsford
£48,000 pro rata
Part-time Monday to Friday 10:00 – 14:30
We are looking for an experienced accountant and bookkeeper to work for a manufacturing company based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for managing the financial records and supporting the finance team.
Daily duties will include:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements ensuring financial data accuracy
- Support budgeting and financial reporting processes
- Work alongside the finance teams on audits and preparing financial statements
Experience required:
- Previous experience within Accounting and/or Bookkeeping
- Skilled with Excel and other financial systems (Sage/SAP/Xero etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
