My client are very well-established within the Machine Tool industry selling throughout Europe. Due to their continued success, we are looking for a skilled ‘Area Sales Manager’ to manage a portfolio of clients and the Scottish region and hunting for new business opportunities.

The ‘Area Sales Manager’ would need to be based in and around Central Belt as this will be the central location of the area coverage which is from Scotland and potentially as far down to Scottish Border. My client is open to other areas of Scotland if the individual is happy with travelling.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

• Experience of selling CNC Machine Tool or Cutting Tools
• Self-motivated
• Confident and effective communicator
• Identifying and developing new opportunities and customers for the range of products
• Background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience
• Ability to communicate technically

The Package:

• Salary up to £55k per annum DOE
• OTE £100k Uncapped
• Company Car or Car Allowance
• Phone, Laptop, Company Credit Card and Work from Home
• 33 days annual leave
• Pension
