x2 CNC Service Engineer – Mechanically Bias
Field Based Role – North UK (South Yorkshire to Scotland)
Upto £50k DOE
Door-to-Door & Overtime (x1.5 after 40 hours)

I am exclusively representing and a very reputable Machine Tool supplier and we are looking for x2 multi skilled field service engineer to join their team. We are looking for a mechanically biased engineer with service and repair experience on CNC machines with Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls

The successful candidate ‘MUST’ hold a full UK driving licence, be able to travel, with overnight stays when required.

They work with a wide range of equipment from conventional machines to the latest CNC Technology and are looking for an experienced service engineer to join their small but growing team. 

Duties Include – Machine Tool Technician/Service Engineer:

• Fault finding and diagnosis of CNC machine tools.
• Installation, fault finding and servicing of  CNC Machines
• Customer-facing role
• Support the company in securing future business opportunities, Leads on future machine purchases,  servicing, and parts.

Key Skills / Experience Required – CNC Machine Tool Technician/Service Engineer:

• Able to fault find, repair and service CNC machines
• Mechanical bias but with a good electrical understanding 
• Experience/competence with Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls
• Good understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and machine schematics
• Time served or Mechanical qualification/apprenticeship trained

The Package:

• Salary of up to £40-£50k DOE
• Door-to-Door &
• Overtime (x1.5 after 40 hours and x2 on weekends)
