Are you an enthusiastic, talented Design Engineer passionate about innovation and design?
Our client, part of a billion euro global group, is seeking a motivated and experienced Specification Design Engineer for their office in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a Civil/Structural Design Engineer eager to expand their skills in structural masonry rehabilitation.
Join our client in a diverse, hands-on role, dealing with structures ranging from 1 to 500 years old and contributing to their market-leading stainless steel construction accessories.
Key Responsibilities for The Specification Design Engineer
- Identify opportunities through industry connections, TSM and ASM network and track to ensure BMS bid.
- Carry out MS design calculations, detailed designs and BoM for quoting and production purposes.
- Engage with and advises architects, engineers, construction team on design solutions and potential improvements.
- Act as key point of contact for high value customers.
Requirements
- Structural/Mechanical Engineering qualified with several years’ experience with Masonry Support systems.
- Familiar with Tekla Structures (or similar)
- Familiar with the Masonry Support market
- Well-connected within the construction industry
- Motivated, Entrepreneurial, Analytical and Organised
