Days (8AM – 5PM, Mon – Thurs) (8AM – 3:20PM, Fri)

We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified automation or electrical maintenance engineer to join our current team of 8 at our site in Hinckley. Last year we turned over more than £10m and have plans to reinvest this in our engineering team.

You’ll be given complete autonomy to work independently on projects and be the sole automation engineer in charge of programme modification and project work.

We are looking for either an automation engineer or an electrical maintenance engineer who has PLC modification and programming capabilities. Ideally the candidate will have Siemens S7 experience but applicants with Allan Bradley, Mitsubishi, Rockwell or Omron experience are still very much encouraged to apply.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance engineer
• PLC modification and programming capabilities on any PLC system, Siemens or Mitsubishi experience would be ideal but is not deal breaking
• Experience with programming Yaskawa Robots would be beneficial, however engineer with experience on any robotics (Fanuc/ABB) are encouraged to apply.
• Time Served Apprenticeship or some form of electrical qualification would be highly advantageous.
