The Role
You will be in charge of 2 engineers, one electrical and one mechanical. You will oversee the work they do, but this is a very hands on role. The role includes reactive work, ppms, corrective work and CIs. You will be encouraged to suggest ways that your site can be improved, streamlined, and how to go about implementing these.
In terms of components and machinery you will be maintaining conveyors, motors, gears, SEW motors, inverters, SCADA, TIA Portals, and PLCs.
About You:
- TIA Portal, SCADA, and PLC skills are a must; troubleshooting, fault finding skills specifically
- Electrically biased, with mechanical competencies ideally
- NVQ Level 3 qualified at least, HNC is preferable but a candidate with the right attitude will be considered.
- Experience as an industrial Automation/Electrical Maintenance Engineer
