£36,500 to £39,000

Days – Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 15:30pm 

Spondon, Derbyshire

The Company:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a mechanically bias and electrically bias maintenance engineer to join our team of 3 mechanical engineers and 3 electrical engineers.

As a maintenance engineer your time will be split between planned preventative and reactive maintenance with a 50/50 ratio between the two, on an array of a diverse range of machinery. Some of the machinery does not have drawings for, so we need someone with a strong electrical bias and time served experience. 

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• As an Electrical Bias Maintenance engineer your day to day will consist of working on: motors, 3 phase, sensors, relays, inverters, drives as well as a focus on PLC maintenance work. 
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks with a 50/50 ratio of planned to reactive

Experience required:

• Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or equivalent qualifications in either discipline as a minimum
• Qualified to IOSHH, NEBOSHH, with any hazardous awareness qualifications is advantageous 
• Any experience with rotating equipment or computerised maintenance systems is also advantageous
