The Company:

The business are a globally recognised food brand, one of the most iconic food companies in the UK. They have an exceptional reputation with the fmcg industry and operate out of a fully automated state of the art plant. They are currently undergoing a £1,000,000 investment into machinery upgrades within the current factory so you will be working with all the latest technology and working in an environment where you will have the chance to up-skill and improve as an engineer. There are progression routes into Automation and Reliability roles in the future as well and the majority of the machines you will be working on are filling/packaging machines amongst others. There are times when you will be firefighting but also undergoing PPM’s and project work. Worth noting – They will look at both elec bias or mech bias but 80% of the work will be mechanical duties day to day.

Experience required for the role

• At least 3 year’s experience working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
• Mechanical or electrical bias, most of the day to day working will be Mechanical duties (80%)
• Electrically qualified ideally, this can be L1 or 18th ed up to Level 3/HNC
• Competent with sensors and 3-phase motors
• PLC training is available so this isn’t a deal breaker
