The Opportunity

Yesterday, I sat down with the Engineering Manager and two engineers I knew and had placed earlier this year to discuss a new role within this incredible Business. Both engineers were really positive, and to quote “best decision ever” joining this organastion. They both felt stale in their previous roles – promised endless training and courses to up-skill and felt there was a glass ceiling, Sound familiar? Since joining they have complete flexibility with their working hours, have been enrolled on thousands of pounds worth of courses including a Bosch Rexroth hydraulics course and electrical up-skilling courses. Plans in the pipeline to put them through a HNC and a degree after that. This Organisation has sites across the world so there will be opportunity to relocate to places such as New Zealand and San Francisco in the future.
 

• Two week Christmas shutdown
• If you find a course worth doing they will sign it off – Siemens S7 training courses as well!
• First week you will be given a Galaxy note 20 and a laptop which can also be used for personal use

What’s the catch? There isn’t one. If you are looking at the basic salary only then this isn’t for you. It is all about the long term bigger picture. They are looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to learn and grow and an engineer and absorb as much learning as possible.
 

Experience required:

• Minimum 3 years experience working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer ideally time served but would look at level 3 qualification
• Electrical fault finding – Panels, sensors, contactors, ability to read drawings is a must
• You don’t have to be the finished article, they are really looking for somebody with the right mindset and attitude
• Any experience working within a heavier environment would be advantageous
