Maintenance Engineer
£42,738.75 (plus OT)
Thurgarton, Nottingham
3-shift , Monday – Friday (8 hour shifts)

We are looking for an electrically or mechanically bias maintenance engineer to come and join us at our fully automated site in Thurgarton, Nottingham. As a company we turnover more than £300m and are an established household name globally within the building products industry.
As for the environment its automation meets heavy industry. If you’re an electrically biased maintenance engineer currently button pushing in an automated environment, this opportunity could be perfect for you. The last thing you’ll be doing here is standing idly watching conveyor belts roll by.
Successful applicants will have some experience in an automated environment such as distribution centres or FMCG type environments, where you’re taking a raw product from point A to point B.
Essentials
- Experience within an automated environment, such as distribution centres or FMCG environment.
- PLC fault finding capabilities on Siemens systems, applicants with other PLC experience are still very much encouraged to apply.
- Attitude to thrive in a heavy industry type environment.
- Applicants with NVQ Level 3 in Engineering and 17th Edition are preferred
