Days Monday – Friday + overtime

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a brand new team as a mechanical fitter. The company have recently invested millions of pounds into new machinery and they are really investing into their future.  There is opportunity to go on courses to up-skill, be part of a team where everyone is working towards a collective goal and never work nights again! Whats the catch? well they wan't the best! you must have at least 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment as a mechanical fitter (ideally heavy). This is heavy industry so you will need to be happy getting your hands dirty, even thought they are looking for someone to be electrically biased due to the nature of the role some work carried out will be mechanical. 

The role will require occasional Saturday work and this will be paid at a premium

Experience required:

• Mechanically qualified ideally to level 3 
• At least 5 year’s experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a mechanical fitter 
• Worked with bearings, straps, belts, chains, pulleys, etc 
• Ideally have worked in a heavy industrial environment or willingness to get hands dirty 
• Any Maintenance Engineer from any background willing to apply – metal processing, heavy plant, recycling etc.
