We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to take this fantastic opportunity to join a world-leading, forward-thinking company which has a focus on sustainability. You will be attending to breakdowns and PPM schedules onsite.

Leeds and Bradford (covering 3 sites within 20 miles)
Company van and fuel card provided
£45,000
DAYS Monday – Friday
We have 2 roles available
1 – Mobile mechanical maintenance, covering Leeds and Bradford only with company van and fuel car.
2 – Site engineer based at Bradford – mechanical maintenance / mechanical fitter
The Opportunity
You will be working on 2000 tonne shears, mobile cranes for material handling, screw conveyors, in feed conveyors, Separators, sortation machines, big industrial magnets and more. It’s a heavy industrial environment where most of the work will be outside, you will have to be self-motivated to get your hands dirty quite often in the wet and cold.

Experience required:
- City and Guilds/ NVQ or similar in an engineering discipline
- At least 3 year’s experience in a mechanical fitter / maintenance engineer rolle maintaining/repairing heavy special purpose machinery as a Maintenance Engineer
- Must have worked in a heavy industrial environment previously
