The Role:
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you’ll be crucial in ensuring that the manufacturing plant operates at peak performance, minimising downtime, and enhancing reliability. You will analyse equipment failure data, conduct in-depth root cause analysis, and implement new maintenance procedures that drive efficiency and innovation. From collaborating with teams to presenting business cases, your technical expertise will have a direct impact on the business’s success.
What You’ll Do:
Root Cause Analysis: Dive deep into equipment failure data, identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions.
Reliability Engineering: Implement and monitor maintenance procedures to ensure minimal downtime and optimise plant performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring reliability is embedded in every aspect of the organisation.
Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of improvement by identifying opportunities and suggesting process refinements.
Data Management & Reporting: Use statistical tools to analyse, report, and present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We Need from You:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a hands-on engineering role (mechanical fitters, reliability engineers, or mechanical managers with a technical background).
A strong analytical mindset, with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset with strong knowledge of maintenance processes and systems.
Experience in CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
