Job Title: Welder
Location: Wallend
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Benefits: Overtime Availability, On-site Parking.

Company Overview:
A growing engineering company specialising in the fabrication of reinforcing steel components for the construction and infrastructure industries. Due to ongoing expansion and increased demand, a position for a skilled Welder has become available.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Carry out welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Ensure correct alignment and positioning of steel components before welding.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet industry quality standards.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet daily targets.
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.

Previous Welder Experience:

• Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Industry-recognised welding certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
