As well as a winning mindset and a progressive attitude, you’ll need to be Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in either a mechanical or electrical discipline (They’re hiring for one of each).
With at least 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You’ll need to be more than comfortable changing bearing straps, belts, chains if you’re Mechanical. If you come from an Electrical background you will have worked with 3-phase motors, contactors, relays and will have the ability to read electrical drawings- PLC knowledge is advantageous.
