Working 5am-1pm one week
11am-7pm even week one week (rotates)

The Opportunity:

My Client are a leader within their industry and due to expansion now require and additional lead maintenance engineer. The role will be hands on and responsible for looking after the engineers on shift (this is usually two engineers). Further responsibilities will include: Planning, organising and coordinating resources to meet production requirements of ongoing maintenance, machine replacement and unplanned issues. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment as per production requirements. This a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to step into a senior maintenance role. 

Some of the machines they have on-site include:

• Carry our reactive & planned maintenance work on
• Conveyor systems
• Larger batch washing machine
• Linen presses
• Gas dryer (Except Gas Safe elements – this is done by external contractor).
• Feeder, Folders & Ironers
• Chemical feed systems
• Building services including Boilers, Steam system, Compressors & lighting etc..

What do we need from you?:

• Mechanical or electrically biased 
• Previous experience working as a senior maintenance engineer is advantageous but not a deal breaker
• Experience with 3-phase motors and sensors is definitely good to have
• Knowledge of gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics would be great!
• Qualifications are a deal breaker, must be qualified in mech or elec 
• Any Manufacturing background welcome but would also look at Ex-Forces
