We are looking for a hungry maintenance engineer to join a new maintenance division at our manufacturing site in Haydock. As a company we have annual turnover of around £20m and have turned over £5m the last few years.
As the successful applicant you’ll have the responsibility to maintain and react to breakdowns within the factory and be expected to be able to work in a team environment. This role in the glass industry will consist of working on machines such as rollers and conveyors.
Experience Required
- A good communicator, confident and effective decision-maker, even under pressure.
- Some formal qualification in engineering maintenance would be beneficial but is not deal breaking.
- Ability to work shifts 6 am-2.15 pm (early) and 2 pm-10 pm (late) Monday to Thursdays, Friday late shift 12 pm-8 pm, alternating weekly.
