£45,000 – rising to £48,000 after six months probation

Monday – Friday Days – FLEXI-TIME 7am – 3pm / 6am – 2pm etc. Early finish on a Friday 

PPM focus role 

My Client have been manufacturing in the area for years and have a factory packed to the rafters of automated machinery who supply to the automotive industry. This is an amazing opportunity for a maintenance team leader to focus on PPM’s whilst leading a team with a large element on planning and continuous improvement and root cause analysis. It would be an advantage if the maintenance team Leader has experience with CNC machines but this NOT a deal breaker. This is an incredible opportunity for an existing maintenance team leader or a hands on maintenance engineer looking for that next step up. If you are a maintenance engineer you will have to demonstrate experience with PPM’s and improvements you have made to machines. They need an idea person for this role so someone who can think on their feet and enjoy’s the thought of making improvements. The role will involve training and they are only recruiting as someone has retired. This role will be 50/50 desk based to hands on as the maintenance team leader.

Experience required for the maintenance team leader:
 

• Exp. working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer – would look at either bias for at least 5 years ready for their next challenge
• Would look at someone without team leader/supervisory experience who is looking for that next step up who is currently a maintenance engineer 
• most duties will be mechanical with some electrical – perfect bias would be 60/40 mechanical but not a deal breaker
• Attitude and soft skills are key for this role, loads of development and progression opportunities for the maintenance team leader
