We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Fitter. You will be maintaining our machine standards whilst also attending breakdowns and working on PPM projects throughout the factory.
As the successful applicant, you will have a hands-on approach when it comes to sewing machine maintenance, overlockers, Mammut & flat machines. You will also ensure the machinery and work area is left clean and in a safe condition, you will be the link between the team and Engineering management.
Experience Required for the Mechanical Engineer / Fitter
- Qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ 2/3, ONC or HNC in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline or time-served hands-on engineer.
- Knowledge of shafts, bearings, belts, and conveyor systems, sprockets, chains etc
- Previous experience working in the FMCG industry
