Due to continued growth, we are looking for a team player to join our maintenance team consisting of 10 apprentices, and roughly 36 members in total. On top of this the working environment is very clean and safe.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
- As a Specialist Machinery Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your day to day will consist of working on: stripping key machinery and machine rebuilding to a high standard, maintaining bespoke machinery with a primary focus on mechanical breakdowns and responsibilities.
Experience required:
- Qualified to level 2 (NVQ/C&G) minimum or equivalent qualifications in either discipline
- Experience with chains, belts, bearings, rollers, motors and hydraulics, pneumatics is advantageous
- Any maintenance engineer from manufacturing welcome to apply – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, brick, automotive, metals, etc.
- Any experience with machine rebuilding, and working to clear measurements is advantageous
- Any experience overseeing PPM Schedules is also advantageous
