My client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join the maintenance team at an industry-leading recycling firm in Wakefield. They have secured exclusive government contracts in their sector securing them for the foreseeable future
As the successful applicant, you’ll have worked in maintenance before. Experience working with conveyors, cranes and hydraulics would be beneficial but is not essential.
The role will be a mixture of PPMs and reactive maintenance in a team of 4 people per shift. You will be working alongside a hands-on team leader and 2 electricians carrying out checking equipment and minor PPMs during the day and more intrusive work during the night shift.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer is desired.
- Either time-served or qualified engineers are desired, experience is the key requirement.
- No electrical skillset is required.
