We are looking for a Process Engineer with “hands on” approach to join our client at expanding team in Kidderminster.
The successful Die Casting Process Engineer roles and responsibilities will involve continuous improvement of all production activities and development of new products and processes and supporting foundry requirements as defined within the rolling production plan.
The successful Process Engineer will be supporting robot set-up change as part of rolling production plan, establishing casting parameters for PPAP submission, mechanical robot installation, creating new production master disks, temperature recording, vacuum checks/die temperature and documentation of set-up paperwork and action reports.
Skills required
- Using diagnostic equipment – PCM, LaMotte, thermal camera etc.
- Maintenance and establishment of systems/ procedures such as cycle time review, cycle breakdown analysis, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement of system reliability.
- ABB knowledge would be an advantage.
