My client have been manufacturing for years and have a strong reputation in the area, they have over 100 engineers on site made up of maintenance, reliability, project engineers and more. This is in incredible opportunity to join as a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer which will be focus on RCA (root cause analysis) general maintenance procedures, project work, over-seeing contractors and much more. To be successful for this role you will need to have previous experience within a senior role ideally within heavy industry and have good knowledge with PLC’s – either Allen Bradley/Siemens. They manufacture specialist metal for mainly the aerospace sector but also produce parts for F1 cars, NHS and more. The process is fascinating and packed to the rafters of cutting edge technology. Experience required for the senior electrical maintenance engineer:
- Ideally HNC/HND/degree level, could look at level 3 for the right person
- 5 years + working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer (time served)
- At least two years working within a similar senior position
- Must have good working knowledge with PLC’s – Allen Bradley/Siemens
- Has been involved in RCA and continuous improvements
