Our manufacturing and installation company are searching for skilled field senior operative to work out of our office (but travel to site – Mostly London). We work in metalwork and woodwork manufacture and installation for the elevator and escalator industry.

We are looking for a hardworking and ambitious professional to work as an on site team leader, with experience in fitting lift car interiors, architraves or escalator balustrades. This work involves using finishes manufactured by us or free issue, completing this from technical drawings and being responsible for your teams on site installation, time keeping and safety procedures. You will be required to send a days work report to your construction manager at the end of every shift.

You will report directly to an Construction Manager, but you will need close working relationships with the Surveyors and Production Manager.

Skills:

· Previous experience in a trade is essential, metalwork or woodwork essential

· Previous experience in working in the lift/escalator industry is essential

· EOR 202/204 is preferable but not essential as training can be provided

· Ability to work on your feet all day

· Some lifting will be required, so a reasonable physical capability is expected

· Full UK driving licence is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• CSCS (required)
• Do you have a Full UK Clean Driving Licence? (required)
