£47,000 basic salary + overtime on tap – realistic earnings are £60,000 – £70,000
Days Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30pm + Saturday overtime
This is a really lucrative opportunity to work for a global organisation who are part of the heavy engineering sector. This is a market leading salary for a mechanical fitter in the West Midlands and with plenty of overtime on a Saturday (6am – 12pm) most Saturdays you will earn over £60,000. This is a very dirty/environment so you must be prepared for this, every day you will get filthy so you need to be sure you are prepared to work in this type of environment. In the summer it can be really hot and in the Winter freezing cold. The workshop has recently had sign off for a multi-million pound new storeroom and the company as a whole are continuously investing.
The role will require working roughly three in four Saturday’s realistically all paid at x1.5. This role will suit someone who has a real need to earn money.

Experience required:
- experienced mechanical fitter ideally from a heavy background
- isn’t afraid to get hands dirty
- Worked with bearings, straps, belts, chains, pulleys, etc
- experience with cylinders is advantageous
- Any Maintenance Engineer from any background willing to apply – metal processing, heavy plant, recycling etc.
