Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Technician
Rotherham – Must be local
Monday to Friday 39/hours per week
£32,000 – £38,000 + overtime X1.5, X2
OTE £45-50K
Van and fuel card provided
Door 2 door pay
The Opportunity:
One of the leading suppliers in the gas and pharmaceutical industry.
65% workshop based, 35% field based but can vary
Duties:
- Respond to breakdowns on customer sites
- Instrumentation – Temp probs, amps, industrial site
- Dealing with customers in a professional manner
- Problem-solving
- Inspecting and testing machinery
- Fault finding and diagnosing
- Assist with costing of projects
- Completing relative paperwork/admin
- Maintain CRM system for sales team
- Work closely with the sales team, attending meetings etc
Requirements:
- C&G/NVQ/HNC etc in mechanical or electrical qualifications Level 3 or above.
- Instrumentation knowledge – test probes, amps etc
- Good communication skills and customer service approach
- Experienced in a maintenance engineer / field service engineer role, ideally 3+ years – Would suit a maintenance engineer just completed an apprentice
