NMBS Partners – Helping Merchants Grow

I’m delighted to announce our partnership with the NMBS. The National Merchant Buying Society is the number one buying society for Independent Merchants with a buying power of £2.2bn. 

What’s the reason for this new partnership? Well, their mission aligns perfectly with ours. They’re committed to developing and strengthening independent merchants by innovating and adding value at every opportunity- just like us!  

This ethos isn’t just steeped throughout our values: Do the Right Thing. Embrace Change. Find a Way. We show it in various ways like offering free training and support on recruitment and retention. As well as offering new innovative, services like video recruitment. 

This decision hasn’t been made lightly. It’s a strategic decision that’s come off the back of our trading history with Suppliers and Merchants, the unique offering we have and off the back of the work we’ve done with the BMF and their members- we are officially the only recruitment consultancy within the group. 

Our NMBS membership will see us working with more merchants, helping us to raise our profile in the industry. But this partnership is about more than us. It’s about how it’ll benefit the members. With all members gaining access to content with up-to-date market stats, bespoke advice on hiring as well as favourable terms.  

It also ties in perfectly with our growth. Having doubled the size of our building materials division alongside Natalie’s promotion to divisional manager, we are now excited to be at NMBS events such as the dinner dance, exhibition and the Cyprus conference next year. 

This is a really exciting opportunity, both for us and for NMBS members, and we cannot wait to continue giving back to the industry in innovative ways.
